SWEET CORN FLOUR FOR "CACHAPAS" PAN 500G

Special corn flour for preparing one of Venezuela´s favorite dishes called "Cachapas". 

This product is appropriate for making typical sweet corn recipes such as corn flatbread or sweet cornbread, sweet bun, sweet corn croquettes, and stuffed rolls, among others.

Recipe for Arepas de Choclo (5 portions):

  • 1 cup of PAN cornflour, 1 cup of water, ¼ cup of milk and 1 tsp. oil.

Preparation:

1. Pour the ingredients into a bowl and stir with a hand whisk or fork until the mixture is incorporated.

2. Let the mix rest for 6 minutes mixing occasionally. 3. Preheat the pan over medium high heat and grease with oil or margarine.

3. Stir, pour the mixture in 1/3 cup (3 tablespoons) portions and spread it.

4. Grill each side for 3 minutes or until you get the desired golden brown. Fill them with mozzarella cheese and enjoy them.
